Eight specimens of a new tape-worm belonging to the genus Senga Dollfus, 1934 were recovered from the intestine of Mastacembellus armatus at Maesa Stream, Chiang Mai, Thailand in the month of January, 1998. They are new species of the genus Senga and identified as S. chiangmaiensis n. sp.
