5. กิจกรรมของห้องปฏิบัติการวิจัย ที่ได้ดำเนินการในปีที่ผ่านมา
5.1 การศึกษาคุณภาพน้ำและการกระจายตัวของแพลงก์ตอนพืช ในลุ่มน้ำและพื้นที่ชุ่มน้ำในเขตจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ได้แก่ ลุ่มน้ำแม่สา อ่างเก็บน้ำแม่กวง และแหล่งน้ำต่างๆ
5.2 การศึกษาคุณภาพน้ำและการกระจายตัวของแพลงก์ตอนสัตว์ ในลุ่มน้ำและพื้นที่ชุ่มน้ำในเขตจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ได้แก่ ลุ่มน้ำแม่สา อ่างเก็บน้ำแม่กวง และแหล่งน้ำต่างๆ
5.3 ศึกษาการกระจายของสาหร่ายพิษ ( Microcystis aerugenosa ) ในแหล่งน้ำต่างๆ บริเวณภาคเหนือ เช่น อ่างเก็บน้ำแม่กวง กว๊านพะเยา
5.4 การศึกษาความหลากหลายทางชีวภาพของแมลงน้ำ ( Aquatic Insects ) โดยเฉพาะแมลงหนอนปลอกน้ำ ( Trichoptera ) เพื่อใช้เป็นตัวบ่งชี้คุณภาพน้ำในแหล่งน้ำต่างๆ
5.5 ความหลากหลายทางชีวภาพของแมลงน้ำวงศ์ Chironomidae กับคุณภาพน้ำในแหล่งน้ำนิ่งและไหล บริเวณแอ่งที่ราบเชียงใหม่-ลำพูน.
5.6 การศึกษาปริมาณแบคทีเรียในแหล่งน้ำเพื่อใช้เป็นตัวบ่งชี้คุณภาพน้ำ ในแหล่งน้ำต่างๆ ทั้งน้ำในแหล่งน้ำธรรมชาติ และน้ำสำหรับการอุปโภค บริโภค
