CMU Trekking is the well-known ceremony of Chiang Mai University that is aimed to welcome the freshman students and let all the students get to know each other more. The ceremony is arranged every year, second month after start sementer 1. The trekking will start from the campus to Wat Pra That Doi Suthep, 14 kilometers. After reaching Doi Suthep, the participants will worship and make merit at Wat Pra That as to bring good luck to them.
